About the Founder

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Founder, Bethanie Ho had always been a creative individual as she set out to be inspired while constantly in search of new things to learn. The excitement of back to school shopping triggered her love for stationary early on. Her favourite childhood planner allowed her to show her individuality and was open to her creativity. The idea of creating a planner came from years of using ones that didn’t quite give her the same excitement as it once did. Her objective was to create a planner that would help guide an individual as they plan and execute their goals. While juggling several jobs at the time, Bethanie had been secretly dedicating her free time towards designing and creating the content. She finally made her vision come to life by learning to book bind and proceeded to make her first run of 2018 planners. With the planners successfully selling out within 2 weeks of starting her business, Elysian Paper Co. was brought to life.

In spring 2019, Bethanie started a line of limited edition products that aim to further cultivate her creative endeavours by bringing new and exciting products to the market. As each limited run collection gets sold out, a new collection will be introduced. Each line of products will feature a charity where 10% of it's proceeds will be going to. Read more about it in the "About Elysian." tab below.
